WE RECYCLE
Metals
Recycling of ferrous metals is now an integral part of steel production. Compared to the extraction of iron ore and its subsequent processing, the use of secondary raw materials not only reduces the economic and time-consuming nature of the production process, but also significantly reduces CO2 emissions, energy and water consumption. Currently, almost 40% of the world's steel production is provided by recycling scrap iron.
The absolute advantage of unwanted metals is that they can be recycled with little or no loss of their original physical properties. They have an extremely wide range of uses and as their resources are not unlimited it is very important to collect, process and bring the waste back into the production process.
"Steel car frames contain at least 25% recycled steel.
For household appliances it's up to 75%."
