Brief description of the project:

The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of FECUPRAL, spol. s r.o., to maintain its economic development and to develop cooperation with the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Prešov in the form of dual education, through the innovation of the recycling process of waste from the processing of waste batteries and waste from the production of batteries.

The subject of the project is the construction of a fully functional test laboratory designed for the assembly, measurement and testing of battery cells using waste battery material. The newly established laboratory will be equipped with analytical and laboratory instruments assembled in logical units (process lines). The establishment and technological equipment of a specialised laboratory at the company's site will ensure local and sustainable testing and analysis of materials by the company's own capacities, ensure quality control of the products produced and optimise the processing of raw materials. This will innovate the process of recycling waste material from battery and cell production.

Students in Electrical Engineering will have the opportunity to learn battery cell manufacturing procedures, battery system management development procedures and battery cell system setup methods, measure, analyze and evaluate data and collected data during practical exercises.
