WE RECYCLE

Plastics

Plastics are polymers made primarily from petroleum, many of which are very difficult for nature to degrade. Due to their wide range and therefore their chemical composition, different technologies and processes must be used to recycle them. Properly sorted categories of plastics can then be efficiently recycled, significantly reducing not only energy consumption and emissions, but above all the amount of plastic waste ending up in landfills.

The recycling process of plastics consists of their mechanical and chemical treatment. The most important part of this process is the rigorous manual and mechanical sorting. Pressing or, if necessary, shredding increases the economic efficiency of transport to the processing site.

At the processors of these wastes, these materials are cleaned, ground and then either melted or made into a granulate ready for shipment to manufacturers of new plastic products.

"Recycling 1 tonne of plastic bottles, save 1.5 tons of carbon."
