Study trip to Norway

On 25.06.2017 to 28.06.2017, representatives of the Fecupral team participated in a meeting in Norway. The meeting was organized with the support of the bilateral fund - Measure B in the area of PA 21 - Green Innovation in Industry.

The aim of the meeting was to seek new partnerships for cooperation in the field of environmentally friendly waste management.
As part of the business trip we took, we had the privilege to meet waste management expert Bjorn Kopstad, who has been working for many years in Norway at the head of major companies involved in waste treatment, sorting and recycling.

The discussion on what we can improve and where we should push the limits in waste recycling was useful. Trends in waste management are inspired by the circular economy, which is forcing companies that process waste to push the limits to the limit of what recycled material can offer us. Such a push to recycle is being made, for example, by a company that is a market leader in furniture and a pioneer in the use of recycled materials. On the positive side, multinationals are concerned about saving the materials they use.

We take our cue from this and we analyse all the processes that take place in our company so that we can eliminate shortcomings and make the processes 100% materially efficient.

We are introducing a "0W" zero waste policy!

The activity is funded by Norwegian grants. Co-funded by the state budget of the Slovak Republic.
